Hockey Predators looking to strenghten their lead atop kdivari's table, Narrilauma meanwhile hoping to get at least something out of this game.
1st period
sessas apparently well-motivated for the game, he's everywhere on ice
01:31 1-0 Blindi - sessas finds free Riadinski, who shoots at the net, the puck rebounds awkwardly to Blindi who just puts it round a lying goalie.
-HaBa- with good movement but only coming close on a couple of occasions
05:06 2-0 dörre (sessas)
05:35 3-0 dörre - dörre comes with Blindi to a 2v1, and Blindi screens the goalie allowing an easy finish for dörre
NL saves: 5, poss: 52%
HP saves: 2, poss: 47%
A nightmare period for Predators, nuff said.
2nd period
Narrilauma enjoying their spell of dominance from the first period
01:55 3-1 minkki (Pitkänen, Kapadeus) - minkki is free out of nowhere after a quick combination against a fully-prepared defence.
Narrilauma still finding a lot of space for their attacks.
minkki on the end of a quick counter attack move but doesn't shoot well.
NL saves: 3, poss: 55%
HP saves: 2, poss: 44%
Narrilauma still in control, although a contact goal can still change the game considerably.
3rd period
Predators thinking alike, early pressure.
02:38 3-2 Kapadeus (-HaBa-) - two or three rebounds and KApadeus suddenly in an easy position
03:09 3-3 Kapadeus (dikke, -HaBa-) - GREAT through pass from dikke and Kapadeus delivers
dörre with a difficult 1v0, still should of have done better.
A good looking 2v1 for Narrilauma, but dikke does well.
05:27 3-4 minkki (-HaBa-, Kapadeus)
Upon which Predators pull their goalie for some really good undisclosed reason, fail to call him back on numerous attempts aaaand...
05:35 4-4 Blindi - an empty net goal
... which is probably worth some failblog entry if ever they were to accept a kiekko one. Seriously, someone get me a recording of this, still not believing it really happened, double palmface doesn't come even close to describing it :D
NL saves: 8, poss: 48%
HP saves: 3, poss: 51%
Anyway, good game with a spectacular finish, the draw is well-deserved from a neutral point of view.
